Mother's Day

Since we couldn't make it to Grace's birthday this past year, we wanted to visit Nina Suzie sometime soon, and planned it for Mother's Day.  I had never met Grace, and here she was a little over a year old, and we hadn't seen Nina Suzie since Leilani's birthday in Novemer.  Leilani was excited.  We went to Ben's work and showed off the Goobie for a little while Friday afternoon, then drove up to Fresno and hung out with some of Ben's friends - Brandon & Maegan.  We (unfortunately) didn't get any pictures of that, but were able to get a few once we hit Manteca the following day.

First we hung out at Suzie's house, where the gilrs (Suzie, Leilani, and me) all played Just Dance 3 on the wii, and Mikayla got to meet Grace (and vice versa) for the first time.  This is how it went down.

And then we headed across the street to the park and took a few pictures and played a few games.

That night, we headed to the Sacramento Art Walk with Suzie, Jake, Henry & Neil and saw a few art displays, shops, and ate some yummy dinner - where Jake got to show off his fabulous napkin folding abilities and every one did awesome (or in Suzie's case - not so awesome) magic tricks for Leilani.

The next day we had a Mother's Day Breakfast at Suzie's house, played some more Just Dance 3, and went back to the park to fly a kite, play some obstacle course games we invented with a hoola-hoop and ball, and hang out.  We then drove the 6 hour trek (which some how became 9 hours) all the way home.  It was a very fun, very exhausting weekend.
